Our Ventia Graduate Program is designed to turn potential into performance, this tailored two-year program gives you practical experience across diverse, live projects. Through four structured one on one rotations including Engineering Design, on site project experience, and Project Management you will build both technical expertise and professional capability. 

In just two years, you’ll gain access to tailored professional development, blending technical training and essential soft skills to fast track your transition from university to industry. Supported by senior mentors and a dedicated graduate buddy, you'll be guided every step of the way as you gain real work experience and make a real impact across the communities and industries we serve.

• Environmental Engineering 

To be eligible for the Ventia Graduate Program, you must meet the following criteria:   

• Successfully completed relevant undergraduate degree in the last two years or be in your final semester of study.   
• Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Permanent residency, or Graduate Visa 485 (valid until the end of 2028). 
• Willingness to travel and relocate for the duration of the rotation.   

Responsibilities 

• Apply engineering knowledge to solve practical challenges and support project delivery. 
• Develop technical and professional skills through hands on project experience. 
• Contribute to project, site, and sustainability initiatives during structured rotations. 
• Engage in continuous learning to support personal growth and team success. 

Skills & Requirements  

• Strong communication, teamwork, organisational, and problem-solving skills. 
• Adaptable, resilient, and accountable, with the ability to manage competing priorities. 
• Curious and innovative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. 
• Previous engineering internship, vacation work, or industry experience is advantageous. 
• Demonstrated initiative through leadership, extracurricular activities, certifications, competitions, or personal projects. 
• Minimum academic achievement: Credit average (GPA 5/7 or 2/4).
