I'm a Law (Honours) and Commerce (Finance) student at LaTrobe Law School. Serving as an Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, I delved deep into military law and leadership. My Financial Technology certification from Monash University sharpened my programming skills, particularly in Python. I've continually blended my military, legal, and tech backgrounds, exploring the nexus of law, finance, and technology. Additionally, studying European Union Law abroad broadened my perspective on global legal systems. Derick is a legal academic at the University of Technology Sydney and the University of New South Wales. He lectures in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate law and commerce subjects at both universities. Derick is also a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of New South Wales, and was previously a Trainee Solicitor at the APP Group. For his work, he has won a number of prestigious awards and prizes - including being a finalist for the Australian Law Student of the Year, NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year and NSW Volunteer of the Year.

Having come to law school knowing nobody, I demonstrate an unwavering commitment to improving the law student experience through undertaking leadership positions in student societies, currently serving as Vice President (Education) for the UNSW Law Society. As President of Women Entering Business (WEB), Ginger has led initiatives that empower female university students, including workshops, networking events and fundraisers. Notably, she organised a fundraiser raising over $1,500 for Opportunity International. Ginger is also an ambassador for Opportunity International, supporting their mission to provide microfinance loans and training to women in developing countries to start their own businesses. Madison Ballard, a current law and philosophy student at the University of Wollongong, emerged as a leader in school roles, surf life-saving, and public speaking during her early years. Attending WHSPA as a triple major, she earned the Dux and the Public Education High Achiever Award. Early leadership often prompted the term 'bossy,' igniting her curiosity about how socio-political climates shape meanings. Her law and philosophy degree awarded her the prestigious Ramsay Scholarship in 2020. While studying, she advanced to CSO in her second year at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, eventually becoming a Legal Case Manager.

Phoebe is an internationally-recognised youth policy advisor with a passion for advancing gender equality and educational equity. She's the youngest member of the Youthwise Advisory Board at the OECD and the Global Youth Committee at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership (GIWL). In addition to studying a BA/LLB at the University of Sydney with an interest in international law, she's launching a social enterprise to provide free tertiary access support to disadvantaged students across NSW. As the Founder of The Modern Democracy Podcast, her goal is to democratise Australian politics by making complex issues accessible to youth voters.

Isabella Tan is a second-year commerce student at UNSW. Having served eighteen months as an Equities Research Cadet at Barrenjoey, she is keen to pursue a career in finance with a particular interest in promoting diversity within the workplace.
