How This Opportunity Is Different

Our graduate program, ‘Launch,’ offers an inclusive, relationship-oriented environment where you will be exposed to a wide range of projects within our Reinsurance Solutions unit – helping to underpin the ability of Insurers to provide Insurance in Australia and New Zealand.

Your time in Reinsurance will see you work across three different teams – Broking, Analytics and Claims & Accounts. Your day in every team will be different, but we are always working together in an interconnected way to understand, assess and mitigate large scale risk.

• The Broking team works with our insurance clients to source the best reinsurance coverage for their needs.  You’ll work with our clients to understand their risk profile, identify vulnerabilities, evaluate different reinsurance options and negotiate the best terms for our clients with a range of reinsurance partners
• When you rotate into Analytics, you will work with a team who utilise advanced modelling and simulation tools to study historical data, market trends and other important information to form valuable insights and help our clients make better decisions regarding risk retention
• During your rotation in Claims & Accounts, you will be at the forefront of the engine room of reinsurance transactions. You will be exposed to the intricate process of claims management and negotiate with reinsurers to facilitate reimbursements to clients. In addition to claims, you will contribute directly to the financial security of our clients by ensuring the seamless execution of critical financial transactions

Show us your strengths and we will work with our teams to select three, six-month rotations unique to you.  

What To Expect During The Graduate Program

During your 18 month Launch experience you will have committed people leaders guide you through each rotation, a Grad buddy who will share experiences with you, as well as support along the way from a senior business mentor and an assigned home business unit.

The program also offers study assistance and structured professional development sessions.

Application Requirements

To qualify for Launch, you must have graduated by the end of 2023 with a Credit or Above Average and have either Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
