The Opportunity

You will support the Talent Acquisition Lead to Attract, Select and Engage diverse and talented candidates who are at the early stages of their careers for a variety of APA Programs. These are primarily, and not limited to, the Apprentice, Graduate and Intern Programs.  We are seeking a driven individual focused on making a meaningful impact. This role is deeply collaborative and people-centred, emphasising relationship building to drive successful outcomes, both with internal stakeholders and most importantly our candidates and future candidates.

You will make an impact by:

· Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to effectively plan, understand and execute hiring needs

· Embed the Diversity & Inclusion strategy into all APA recruitment with leaders and hiring managers and the benefits it brings to the organisation

· Coach, train and support hiring managers in the Recruitment and Systems processes, together with selection interviewing and decision making

· Build and manage strong networks with universities, associations and community to create and maintain early careers talent pools 

· Offer advice to hiring managers and the business; around market conditions, attraction strategies, screening and selection, engagement, challenges and expected outcomes

· End to end recruitment – from attraction, screening and selection to engagement of candidates

· Attend / coordinate careers sessions at universities / with APA and other community / education organisations

To be successful in this role

You are driven by solutions and find satisfaction in combining candidate engagement with administrative responsibilities. You possess a genuine passion for Early Careers recruitment and understand the significance and influence of ensuring a positive candidate experience in competitive candidate markets. You will bring:

· Degree in HRM, Behavioural Sciences, Business or a related field

· Demonstrated success in recruitment or talent acquisition – experience in high-volume recruitment is advantageous

· Strong stakeholder engagement and networking skills across all levels

· The ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently and prioritise efficiently

· The capability to adapt swiftly within a dynamic setting, proficiently adjusting and reprioritising when necessary
