The Team – Finance

Finance facilitates management decision making and organisational performance by establishing APA accounting policy and governance for the group’s financial systems, plans, processes, and procedures.

Graduates joining our Corporate - (Finance) program stream may experience rotations in Performance Planning and Analysis, Capital Markets & Corporate Governance and Enterprise Finance.

The APA Graduate Program

The APA Graduate Program has three main streams within the business where we aim to give Graduates the opportunity to experience the full lifecycle of their chosen discipline, including 1 elective (2-year program offering 4 x 6-month rotations to include 1 elective rotation). Some of the benefits you can expect from being part of the program are:

  • Support and guidance
  • A dedicated Early Careers Team / Talent Consultant
  • Manager and team Buddy aligned to each rotation (changes every 6 months)
  • Mentor in your 2nd year, who will see you through the whole second year of the program and through to your post program transition into the business
  • Field Trips on site – you can expect at least one per rotation, aligned with the team and type of work you are doing
  • Professional and Personal Development days twice a year include meeting up with all colleagues in the program
  • Share Back, Teach Back - share learnings with current rotation manager, peers, or external school / university workshops
  • Monthly – Graduate Led – catchups with cohorts
  • YAPA (Your Community in APA) - is the official young professional community of APA, run by young professionals for young professionals. We support those new to industry, new to workforce, and new to APA by providing opportunities for technical and professional development as well as networking and social events.

Eligibility

  • Finance or Accounting Degree qualified by the end of 2023, and within last 2 years
  • Sydney based
  • Willingness to continue your learning journey and be part of a greater national Graduate Team
  • Able to demonstrate the APA behaviours: Accountable, Collaborative, Courageous, Impactful, Nimble
  • Available to start your full time career 4 March 2024
