Our mission is enabling Defence capability by working in partnership with our clients to deliver integrated services through a highly capable workforce.

We support the Australian Defence Force and other Defence enabling Groups in meeting their capability and corporate objectives and play a leading role in integrating service delivery to better align with the One Defence model.

The ZOC team provide administrative support, policy guidance, and centralised business co-ordination to the various teams across the South East Zone, as personnel can't serve if life isn't squared away first.

Some of the functions performed by the ZOC include; workforce planning, learning and development, finance, information management, and ministerial and media enquiries.

The Zone Operations and Coordination Team is looking for people who enjoy communicating with stakeholders to identify, respond, and provide advice on issues to achieve outcomes across the South east Zone.

You’ll work under limited direction from the ZOC Manager whilst organising your own workload and making self-governing decisions which relate to your area of responsibility. We’re wanting someone who is accountable, delivers, and meets deadlines within complex procedural, operational, or administrative work environments.

To be successful within this role, you’ll have experience operating within an integrated workforce, focusing on end to end support of projects and tasks across multiple teams, each with competing priorities

About our Team

Zone Operations and Coordination (ZOC) team sits within the South East Zone (SEZ). The SEZ are part of the Service Delivery Division which provides essential, on the ground services and support to Defence Personnel around Australia.

The purpose of the Zone Operations and Coordination (ZOC) team is to enable bases and products to deliver on zone-wide customer outcomes through zone-coordinated communications, workforce management, learning & development and other business management and governance activities.
