As a graduate within our 2025 program, you will be placed in a variety of business areas across the organisation, critical to the operations of the AFP.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the critical and dynamic work of Australia’s national policing agency. Your valuable contribution will have a real impact on how we work as an organisation and also on our broader communities. Whilst on the program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • undertake targeted professional development opportunities that provide you with the knowledge and skills to set up your career
  • complete a number of work area rotations, exposing you to different areas of the AFP
  • access graduate specific support including buddies, mentors and other organisational networks
  • complete corporate and community based graduate projects.

Eligibility:

  • To be eligible you must be an Australian Citizen.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher equivalent) and completed your university degree in the last 5 years (2020 or later) or be in your final year of study. 
  • The COVID-19 vaccine has been mandated for all AFP employees. Satisfactory proof of vaccination status will be required at the time an offer of employment is made. You will be notified if you need to provide your COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.

  • A starting annual salary of $69,224 plus 15.4% superannuation
