BCG is offering three Scholarships to students in their pre-penultimate and penultimate years of tertiary studies

We particularly want to encourage applicants from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in our industry and empower them to become future leaders and change-makers. We offer three scholarships for students who identify specifically as:  

  • Female or Non-Binary student 
  • Indigenous (including Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Māori or Pacific Island origin) 
  • Open category -  to a student who meets our eligibility and selection criteria (anyone applying for one of the targeted scholarships will be automatically considered for this category as well) 

Your application is the start of a life-changing experience in which you'll work with leading businesses on their toughest strategic and operational problems. We encourage ambitious students from a diverse range of experiences and degrees to apply.  We are seeking students who can demonstrate

How to apply 

In your application, you should include your CV, cover letter and academic transcripts.  

We want to get to know you so please make sure you include information in your cover letter and CV about things you’re passionate about and why BCG is a great career fit for you.  As well, tell us in your cover letter, which of the three Scholarships you are applying for. We seek students who can demonstrate leadership, critical thinking and great communication skills, as well as curiosity and problem-solving.  As a guide, we’d like to see details about:  

  • Your work experience be it business-related (banking, consulting, retail etc.) or other. We are seeking motivated individuals who can showcase a strong career trajectory and a high level of impact in the roles they have held – make sure to include how many hours a week you work (if relevant)  
  • Your extra-curricular activities, whether on campus or outside of university life. Have you played sport extensively or are involved in an activity that takes up a lot of your time? We look for individuals to demonstrate evidence of impact and legacy, significant contribution, and high levels of commitment, initiative and responsibility  
  • Your academic credentials. Please include details of prizes or scholarships you’ve attained  
  • The impact that you would like to have on your community if you are the successful recipient of a Scholarship
