Applications to join BCG as a Graduate Associate are now open! “The opportunity to learn about a wide range of industries and how to communicate big ideas in a structured, compelling way is what drew me to consulting at BCG. However, one of the best things about BCG are the incredible people I’ve worked alongside and learned from. In my first 18 months, I’ve worked across BCG’s social impact, climate and sustainability, industrial goods, public sector and energy practices, from helping to develop an impact investing strategy for a global NGO, to establishing the functions government could use to accelerate the energy transition.

I’m an Associate in the Melbourne office and completed a Masters of Mathematics and Statistics (Applied) and a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Melbourne. As a generalist consultant on quantitative cases, I use my maths background to develop Excel models, in data analytics using Alteryx, and recently was on a case working alongside BCG’s digital team using scheduling optimisation to redesign network operations for a tier 1 mining client. Overall, I’ve found the problem-solving mindset and logical way of stepping through a problem from a STEM background to be a good foundation across all my cases at BCG.”

We are looking for people who demonstrate passion, impact, and high levels of commitment, initiative, and responsibility. 
• Any achievements that make you proud. We understand that achievements are contextual to your environment, but we’d love to hear what yours are! This could be anything from scholarships or prizes that you’ve attained to overcoming significant struggles or being the first in your family to attend university.

We encourage you to place one of our offices (Auckland, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney) as your first preference to be considered for our Graduate Associate Program.
