As an Undergraduate Analyst in our Business Restructuring team, you’ll build your technical accounting and advisory skills, whilst you complete your studies.   

BDO is one of the world’s leading audit, accounting, advisory and consulting firms. We provide a range of services to clients of all sizes and industries across Australia.    

The Business Restructuring team assist companies through periods of financial distress via restructuring and turnaround strategies. The team also assist clients where a restructure or turnaround is not available by supporting them with closing down the business, conducting forensic investigations, and ensuring businesses and individuals are financially compensated where required. 

What you’ll do:   

As a Business Restructuring Undergraduate at BDO, you can expect to:   

  • Identify, realise, and recover assets (e.g., debtors, equipment, real property, etc.)  
  • Conduct forensic and investigative analysis of financial documents and bank statements to identify causes of failure and movement of company funds  
  • Reporting to creditors and statutory bodies in smaller matters 
  • Assisting senior team members on larger, more complex matters.

What you’ll offer:    

  • You will be studying towards an Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree.
