We’re looking for the next BDO Advisors of the future to join our People Advisory Graduate Program in February 2024!  

Your Career in People Advisory

You might have seen news reports about companies getting in trouble for underpaying staff. Often this is due to a lack of education around their legal obligations. This is just one area in which our People Advisory team help to educate our clients.

So, what else do they do? Our People Advisory team are experts in people related issues, including salary packaging & FBT, superannuation, pay compliance & remediation, expatriate & global mobility, and employee share schemes. 

You will get the opportunity to:

  • Attend tax briefings for expatriate employees and client meetings
  • Conduct research into various projects
  • Support the team by drafting advice for clients
  • Review and be involved in the lodgement of FBT returns during our compliance period (May and June), including ad hoc FBT compliance throughout the year
  • Be a part of pay compliance projects, including the review of various industrial instruments (Awards, Enterprise Agreement) and analysis of payroll data
  • Liaise with various regulators (ATO, state revenue authorities)

Eligibility 

  • You will be in your final year, or have recently completed a degree in accounting, business, commerce, or law, or similar.
  • You can commence full-time in February 2024.
