Your BDO Vacation Experience

Let your career take flight within one of the world’s leading audit, accounting, advisory and consulting firms!  

Open to students in their penultimate year, who are looking to get hands-on experience, and learn about the range of career pathways available at BDO.  

The program runs over 4 weeks and includes full-time, paid work experience within one service line during the university break commencing either November 2023 or January 2024 (commencement date and duration may vary across offices).  

About People Advisory 

You might have seen news reports about companies getting in trouble for underpaying staff. Often this is due to a lack of education around their legal obligations. This is just one area in which our People Advisory team help to educate our clients.

So, what else do they do? Our People Advisory team are experts in people related issues, including salary packaging & FBT, superannuation, pay compliance & remediation, expatriate & global mobility, and employee share schemes. 

What can I expect? 

• Get to know all about BDO, our people, clients, services, and culture!  
• Work on real projects for our clients, giving you valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting. 
• Work alongside your allocated buddy, and experienced leaders who will provide you with guidance and support as you learn and grow. 
• Undertake various professional development activities (workshops, training modules etc.), helping you to develop your skills and knowledge. 
• Meet other vacationers and professionals in the industry, build your network and make valuable connections.

Eligibility

You will be in your penultimate year, working towards a degree in either accounting, business, commerce, or law.
