We’re looking for the next BDO Advisors of the future to join our Research & Development Tax Graduate Program in January/February 2024!

Your career in Research & Development 

Our Research & Development Tax team support our clients to utilise the business assistance program administered by the Australian Government to undertake research & development activities that they may not otherwise be willing to attempt. 

As an R&D tax advisor, you will embark on a dynamic journey where you be will at the forefront of supporting ground-breaking research from various industries. You will join a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to the growth of Australian businesses through innovation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Travel around and visit a variety of different client sites to better understand their research and development needs
  • Collaborate with client engineers, scientists, and developers from diverse industries to identify and analyse their R&D activities
  • Perform research on client industries and technologies in preparation for client meetings
  • Draft R&D project descriptions based on information you gather
  • Discover how broad research and development is – this can vary from dealing with software companies, food manufacturers and even breweries!

Eligibility 

  • You will be in your final year or have recently completed a relevant degree. We are open to your background, but you may have a degree in either Science, Engineering, Commerce, or Law to name a few.
  • You can commence full-time in January/February 2024.
