We’re looking for the next BDO Advisors of the future to join our Tax Graduate Program in January/February 2024. 

Your Career in Tax

With so many different types of taxes, industries and applications, working in tax can be a varied, challenging and rewarding career.

At BDO, depending on your preferred location you could be working across a broad range of tax issues, or specialising within a team such as Corporate & International Tax, or Transfer Pricing. No matter the team, you’ll develop valuable expert knowledge and a detailed understanding of a variety of businesses and industries, helping your clients to navigate the complex world of tax! 

  • Corporate & International Tax (Accounting, Commerce, Law) – advise on a broad range of corporate tax matters including, thin capitalisation, taxation of financial arrangements, tax consolidations and tax considerations for major merger and acquisitions and transaction/due diligence services. 
  • People Advisory - Employment Tax & Global Expatriate Tax (Accounting, Business, Commerce, Law) – advise on PAYG Withholding, Fringe Benefits Tax, Superannuation Guarantee, Employee Share Schemes, Payroll Tax and other employment taxes. 
  • Research & Development Tax (Commerce, Engineering, IT, Law, Science) - assist companies to access government funding for their innovation and major investments from start-ups to listed companies. Learn more here. 
  • Transfer Pricing (Accounting, Economics, Law) – help groups navigate the global transfer pricing environment, providing a range of planning, compliance, audit defence and benchmarking services to support international transactions.
  • Indirect Tax (Accounting, Commerce, Law) - provide specialist advice across stamp duty, payroll tax, land tax, GST fuel tax, luxury car tax, dispute resolution and ATO negotiations. 

If you select Tax as your preferred service line in your application form depending on your preferred location you may be considered for more than one speciality tax team.

Eligibility 

  • You will be in your final year, or have recently completed a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • You can commence full-time in January/February 2024.
