2025 Coles Finance Graduate Program

About the Program:
From day one as a Coles graduate, you’ll feel the connection your work has to our purpose, to "helping Australians eat and live better every day". You will be accountable for making decisions in providing food, drink and home solutions that are delicious, sustainable and healthy for our customers and ensuring to deliver a consistent experience for our customers every day, both in-store and online.

During the three-year* Finance Graduate Program program, you’ll be working on real deliverables with clear ownership and accountability as you learn and grow through functional rotations, a tailored development program and a tight-knit support network. You will also be able to work in cross-functional groups to complete an Innovation Project, where the top teams present to our Executive team on a genuine business challenge.

Our Finance team makes it easier for us to win together as a business.  We work side-by-side with every other team to help bring commercial thinking into what they do and make moves that support our strategic business decisions.  

With a team of over 400, Finance offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.

You will handle all sorts of questions such as: How do you ensure reliable and accurate financial reporting to the wider business?; and How do you determine the best course of action to drive Coles’ sales and profit? 

The three-year Finance Graduate Program commences in February 2025.

Eligibility Criteria: You’ll be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency at the time of application For our Store Support Centre Graduate Program, you’ll have completed a bachelor's degree before commencing the program.

*The length of the Finance program is three years as Graduates will be supported in completing a CA/CPA qualification throughout the program.
