About the role 

Our Mining Engineers at our sites are responsible for the design, planning, monitoring, and reporting of mine production and coordination of activities to ensure compliance with the plan, procedures and standards. Mining Engineering Graduates are expected to complete a tailored program consisting of a combination of field and office time at two different operations across Australia.  

Graduates with an interest in pursuing an underground mine managers ticket or open pit quarry managers ticket will have the opportunity whilst on the Graduate Program, aligned to the Western Australian legislation. 

About you 

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:   

  • A high degree of safety awareness with proven hazard identification and risk assessment skills.  
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule work  
  • Confident oral communication and presentation skills  
  • Excellent written communication skills  
  • Competent user of MS Office tools 

Prerequisites: A Mining Engineering, Science (Mining) or Engineering Science (Mining Engineering) degree completed within the last three years.
