About the role 

As an Environmental Advisor within the Sustainability team your overarching goal will be to uplift the environment and social governance profile of the company both internally and externally. This will be done by supporting sustainable projects within our operation and regions. Activities used to complete this will be data analytics and reporting, transparent communications and identification of risk and opportunities through risk assessment and control implementation.  

Through the role you will develop a knowledge base to support sustainable mining and environmental stewardship. By developing plans to help site implementation and compliance to Evolution Policy and Standards you will be ensuring that operations and projects operate at a high standard and achieve sustainable outcomes for our people, planet, process and profit. 

As this is a site-based role, we expect you to work at two different operations across Australia throughout the two-year program. 

About you 

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:  

  • Work experience on a mine site or regional vegetation management highly regarded  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel  
  • Experience with data management and GIS software  
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule work   
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal  
  • Solid analytical skills and attentiveness to detail   
  • Manual driver's license 

Prerequisites: A completed Sustainability, Earth Sciences, Communications, Governance and Risk or similar degree completed within the last three years.
