About the Program

 Our 12-week paid vacation program aims to attract, develop, and retain technical professionals into the mining industry. The program offers meaningful, valuable work experience, key networking opportunities and professional development. The program is designed to give you an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned throughout your studies, as well as provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our mining operations, safety protocols and sustainable practices.

Program Highlights:

A Diverse Experience: From open pit to the underground operations and our processing plant, you'll have the chance to observe the entire mining process up close.

Practical Training: Work alongside and learn from industry experts in a professional and supportive environment. Gain practical skills relevant to your discipline and in core mining practices, geological mapping, mineral processing, environmental management, and more.

Mentorship and Networking: Benefit from the guidance of experienced professionals who will mentor you throughout the program. Engage in networking opportunities to connect with industry leaders, build valuable relationships, and gain insights into potential career paths.

If you are currently studying a tertiary qualification in any of the following disciplines, we’re keen to speak with you.

• Mining Engineering
• Survey
• Geology
• Sustainability (Environmental Science, Health, Safety & Risk)

To succeed in this role, we are looking for undergraduate students who are passionate about commencing a career in the mining industry and understand and support our unwavering commitment to safety. Our program will run from mid-November 2023 until February 2024.

Successful candidates will be required to relocate to West Wyalong, utilising local accommodation that will be arranged by Evolution and funded by the successful candidate. Daily transport is provided to site via a number of pickup points in West Wyalong and working rosters will be five (5) days on, two (2) days off. (4) days on, three day (3) days off.
