During the two-year program, you’ll learn about our business and our values, your team and most importantly, yourself. You’ll develop your decision-making, communication, technical and leadership skills and mentoring.  

What will you do in the role? 

  • The Resources group is a multidiscipline team which will see you collaborating with industry leading technical authorities in the Resources (mining and energy) sector. 
  • You will undertake civil and/or structural design for process and non-process infrastructure for Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Bauxite sites, and work on Future Energy and renewables projects including wind, solar, hydrogen and power distribution. 
  • You will develop technical writing skills through producing reports, specifications and construction scope of work documents. 
  • You will learn about the commercial side of being a consultant, assisting with writing proposals to win new projects, estimating fees, and reviewing scopes. 
  • You will contribute to Project Management and Project Engineering activities such as tracking progress and co-ordinating multi-discipline project teams. 
  • You will have the opportunity to visit client sites for inspections and meetings and will have direct contact with clients. 

We’re looking for individuals who

  • Have recently graduated or will graduate at the end of the year with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia). 
  • Are passionate about the consulting industry. 
  • Have strong communication teamwork and communication skills. 
  • Embrace our shared commitment to safety in all aspects of our work. 
  • Have the ability to work as a dependable member of a multi-disciplinary team and self-prioritize workload 
  • Be willing to travel to clients’ sites from time to time.
