Outside of the technical development you’ll gain working within your team, you’ll also join GHD’s Graduate Development Program. The Graduate Program will connect you with graduates across Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.  It has been designed for future portability, so that no matter where your graduate position in GHD takes you, your learning experience will be impactful and consistent.

During the two-year program, you’ll learn about our business and our values, your team and most importantly, yourself. You’ll develop your decision-making, communication, technical and leadership skills, and mentoring.

What will you do in the role?

• Assist with the development of proposals and technical documents (reports and designs) related to a range of transport infrastructure.
• Work closely with a range of engineers and designers on the production of deliverables.
• Work across Gold Coast and South Queensland projects and collaborate with other GHD offices accordingly.
• The role is focussed on the design and documentation of transport infrastructure.
• You will be expected to work across a range of disciplines including transport planning, drainage, pavements, geotech, construction management etc. to ensure integration and completeness of design production.
• Assist with the management of projects through program, quality and financial tools.
• Engage with the broader industry through organisations such as Engineers Australia.
• Be actively working toward RPEQ registration.

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Have recently graduated or will graduate at the end of 2023 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Are passionate about the consulting industry.
• Have strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Have a strong desire to learn and take on challenges.
• Any prior experience in an engineering environment will be highly regarded.
