The Hatch Undergraduate Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

Structural 

As part of the Structural team, you will gain exposure to structural design engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. You may be involved in various phases of projects from scoping and conceptual design, pre- feasibility studies, through to detailed engineering. Our strength is in our people, processes and tools and our focus remains on quality, safety, cost and schedule.

Ports and Terminals  

Within the Ports and Terminals Group, the core work will be structural engineering of maritime structures such as wharves and jetties. You will design concrete and steel structural members to Australian and International Standards using structural design packages. We will also support you to gain skills in a complimentary area of your interest, whether it be project management, master planning, smart ports, automation, asset management, coastal processes.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towards Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.

The 12-week full-time program commences on 20 November 2023.
