We are looking for HLB’s next generation for the Sydney office within the Personal Wealth Management Team. Our Wealth Management business is fast growing and one of the largest non-bank aligned practices in Australia, with over $1bn in FUM, specialising in High Net Wealth (HNW) clients. You will be a valuable team member working in a dynamic, professional and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, well presented, demonstrate a genuine passion for wealth management, and have high attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills in order to develop solid working relationships with our clients. If you’re either recently qualified or in your final year of a Business or Commerce degree with a Wealth Management major who wants to work with the best and is ready to make it happen, then apply today!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting advisers in the preparation of financial advice including superannuation, tax structuring and family office planning 
  • Client review meeting preparation and follow up 
  • Assisting with investment portfolio reviews and changes 
  • Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) accounts preparation 
  • Listed securities research analysis for advisers as needed 
  • Quarterly report preparation and performance analysis

To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a genuine passion for wealth management
  • Have recently completed an undergraduate Business, Commerce or Economics degree, preferably with a major in Wealth Management
  • Have a credit or above GPA
  • Be an Australian citizen or have Permanent Residency status
