Our People & Operations role is a two year, accelerated development program designed to set you up for success on your path to becoming a future leader at Mars. You will develop across two assignments within the P&O function, which are real roles, delivering real results for Mars. 

Working at our Mars Petcare site in Wodonga or Melbourne, VIC where our teams develop the likes of Whiskas, Optimum, and Pedigree, you will join our P&O team and have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of roles across Employee Onboarding, Talent Management, Training & Development & Business Partnering. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires and facilitating a smooth integration into the company.
  • HR Records Management
  • Talent Management: Assist with the development of talent review meetings, including talent analysis, succession planning and tracking development of high potential employees.
  • Training and Development: Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training sessions, including assessment of training needs.
  • Business Partnership: Liaise with and provide support to various internal functions to aid in the strategic development of projects within the Petcare ecosystem from conception to delivery.
