Your opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure and Contracts Administration Graduate to join our Sydney team, working as a Trainee or Assistant Development Manager.
In this role you will assist with all the operational aspects of the Sydney developments primarily managing contract administration tasks such as compilation of tender packages, preparing tender recommendations for management approvals, compiling contract documentation, processing subcontractor and consultant monthly claims in accordance with legislation and tracking monthly invoicing for consultants and contracts against budgets, in addition to:
- Manage and co-ordinate the infrastructure approvals process.
- Contribute to reporting on infrastructure financial status in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support project site team with administration of contracts
- Support and co-ordinate ongoing infrastructure projects as assigned.
- Assist project team in the day-to-day management of the project including contractor correspondence
- Assist with Mirvac Projects management of HSE onsite system Hammertech
- Responsible for authority connection application and fees
- Attend site meetings as required
Your point of difference
This is a graduate level position, as the successful candidate you would have completed a degree in construction management or a contracts administration related field. If you have existing work experience it is ideally undergraduate experience or 1 year post graduate.
You will have a strong interest to develop a career within property development and construction.
You will have a high level of stakeholder engagement both internally and externally. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key to your success. In addition, you will be a team player and self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities while working within a busy team environment. Strong attention to detail is required to produce accurate and quality work.
