Asset Management Intern, Build to Rent 

This is an opportunity to gain insight and experience in managing operational BTR properties. The role supports the Property and Community Managers at LIV Indigo and LIV Munro, and the portfolio management team in managing the day-to-day activities at our assets. These activities will include leasing, customer engagement programs, customer communication plans, arrears management, data integrity and insights and property administration. 

With two more properties opening in the BTR portfolio in 2024, the role will also have exposure to planning for “go-live” including development to operations handover and onboarding.

About Build to Rent

Our Build to Rent offering, LIV is how Mirvac is addressing the issue of housing affordability and security in Australia and transforms the way we rent and live by combining the flexibility of renting with the security of ownership. As both the developer and landlord, we’re able to create and deliver a completely new property experience; one specifically designed to remove the downsides that typically come with renting. By 2024, 3,300 residents will call LIV home across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Internship Overview

Mirvac’s internship program is designed to assist you in building your career in the Property & Construction Industry during your final year of studies.

• One year Internship in your area of study, around your study schedule
• Rotations across job families and asset classes in some divisions to support a diverse experience
• Participation in a Hatch Innovation Project 
• Asset site tours 
• Corporate learning programs to build upon your professional and technical skills
• Property education modules 
• Networking opportunities across business teams and our Executive Leadership Team
• Guided lectures each week from our Management Leadership Teams 
• Support structure including a Manager, Buddy, Mentor and Intern Program HR Team

About you

Are you passionate about the property industry and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment? Are you open to learning and do you look forward to new challenges? If you are in your penultimate year of completing a Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Property Economics and due to graduate in 2024, we would love to hear from you! 
We’re looking for someone who has a positive attitude and energetic approach to tasks. You are a reliable team member with the ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks. You are a confident and effective communicator and put customer service at the forefront of everything you do. This role will require you to work from site office (LIV Indigo, Sydney Olympic Park) one day per week. 

This role is open to Australian / New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents and international students eligible to work in Australia full time.
