Development Internship – Sydney

As a Development intern you will participate in a range of Mirvac’s development projects across our integrated business model. You will work within your team to assist the ADM/DM on the following: preparation of Development Applications, assisting in civil and building works, sales releases, settlement process, and other items related to the development process.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to rotate across various asset classes within the business – including areas such as Residential, Commercial mixed-use, Build To Rent, Retail and Industrial, giving you a broader range of exposure to all areas of Development.
You will have access to broader Group activities including the chance to contribute to a group Intern Innovation project, take part in social events, visit and learn more about our development sites and investment properties. Our mentoring program will help you be at your best and gain the most out of your time at Mirvac.

Internship Structure

Mirvac’s internship program is designed to assist you in building your career in the Property & Construction Industry during your final year of studies.

• One year Internship in your area of study, around your study schedule
• Rotations across job families and asset classes to support a diverse experience
• Participation in a Hatch Innovation Project
• Asset site tours
• Corporate learning programs to build upon your professional and technical skills
• Property education modules
• Networking opportunities across business teams and our Executive Leadership Team
• Guided lectures each week from our Management Leadership Teams \
• Support structure including a Manager, Buddy, Mentor and Intern Program HR Team

About you

Are you passionate about the property industry and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment? Do you look forward to challenges, are open to learning and possess excellent communication skills?

If you meet the following criteria please apply:

• Penultimate year of your Bachelor or Masters’ in Property Economics, Planning, Urban Planning, Architecture, Commerce (majoring in Property Development), Valuation, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Business (Majoring in Property) and due to graduate in 2024
• Available to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week
• Australian / New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents and international students eligible to work in Australia full time
