What we’re looking for

Haymans Mt Isa is currently on the lookout for enthusiastic and customer focused individuals to join our team and provide efficient and exceptional sales support to a long-term customer base. These unique steppingstone opportunities are for someone with superb interpersonal skills and a passion for dealing with people, looking to progress their career working with a reputable industry leader.

Your new role

Rivalling any other role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base. Your key responsibilities include:

• Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
• Counter sales including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
• Liaising with suppliers and customers.
• Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders.
• Managing all content creation (written, graphic, video etc) and drive engagement across all the Haymans Mt. Isa social media accounts.
• Plan and execute basic marketing strategies to support the growth, awareness, and engagement for the Mt. Isa branch.
• This is a full-time permanent role based in Mt. Isa, Queensland.

A bit about you

• You’re a driven and passionate professional with prior experience working in a sales or customer facing role.
• Client focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your customers.
• You are excellent at managing your time and a real ‘self-starter’, you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
• You are hands on and will relish in the opportunity to work directly in all aspects of the operation – from warehousing logistics through to business admin, marketing and internal counter sales.
• You have full Australian working rights, as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
