Graduate Program 

• In your first 2 weeks as a Moore Australia (VIC) Graduate you will participate in a structured Graduate Orientation.
• Orientation will consist of a mixture of activities including getting to know your colleagues, your buddy, and your team; introductions to all our service lines by various managers from each division; systems training; compliance programs; external speakers and lunch with our CEO.
• You will have the opportunity to attend the National Graduate Conference where you will meet our National Team and connect with other Graduates across our Australia network.
• You will take a deep dive into your chosen service line, with a comprehensive training program to gain a strong understanding of your new role, equipped with the skills to move your career forward.
• You will learn about all the Learning and Development opportunities available to you, including the CA Program, and our ongoing Moore Australia Graduate training programs.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate to join our Taxation division and become a part of our 2024 Graduate Program. This opportunity will see you working within the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive and Government Grants team and is the perfect opportunity for those who are looking to begin a career in a professional services environment.

As a Graduate in our R&D Tax Incentive and Government Grants team, you will be involved in:

• Researching government grants and incentive programs, determining available funding, eligibility criteria and application requirements.
• Preparing applications to a range of government funding programs, including the R&D Tax Incentive, Accelerating Commercialisation, Export Market Development Grant and Manufacturing Support Programs. 
• Analysing financial reports and data and preparing supporting documents for submission to government (e.g. project budgets, cash flow forecasts and R&D Tax Incentive schedules).
• Attending client meetings to discuss their business projects
• Communicating with government and clients throughout the preparation and lodgement of government funding applications.
  
  

About you 

On top of your passion to succeed within the accounting/professional services industry, we are looking for candidates who display the following:

• Bachelor of Commerce, Economics, Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering or similar undergraduate degree.
• Strong interest in R&D 
• A collaborative team player with a willingness to participate
• A sense of leadership in your studies or work environment
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
