nib's two-year graduate program will give you the chance to drive your own career and work on high-impact, meaningful and purpose-led projects from day one! You'll drive transformation of our members and travellers' experiences whilst working alongside our teams to deliver on operational and strategic goals. As a graduate, your journey will be guided by a dedicated buddy, leader, and mentor, with access to nib's senior leadership teams.

Let's talk about this role

Build your career as an Information Security professional contributing to the protection of nib's systems, information, and environment. As part of your program, you'll gain exposure to Cybersecurity and IT Risk activities such as security threat analysis, information security program delivery, third party risk management, data security, technical regulatory and compliance frameworks, information security management system (ISMS) maturity, and cloud security, with the opportunity to implement and maintain nib's information security capability.

Let's talk about you

  • You're in your final year of study or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in IT and/or Cybersecurity within the last 2 years
  • You have attained or are working towards information security specific certification
  • You thrive on challenging the status quo and thinking "outside the box" to identify opportunities for improvement
  • You consider yourself open-minded with the ability to work as part of a team in an agile work environment
  • You're able to commence work in January 2024
  • You're an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with full working rights in Australia. International Students who have a valid visa that enables them to work in Australia without any work restrictions are eligible to apply to our program
