Your new role

This role sits within our Talent team within our People (HR) function and will support the talent attraction for our early careers initiatives, including internship and graduate programs. Reporting into our Early Talent Consultant, you will collaborate with and work closely with our centralised Communications, Content, Design, and Social Media teams.  You will work on internal and external promotional materials including digital video and brochure-type content, website copy, and social media content. 

Depending on your interests, we will offer you the opportunity to develop skills in other areas of our early careers programs such as university partner initiatives that involves project management, graduate volume recruitment, and the graduate and graduate leader experience.

This role would suit someone with a strong interest in social media trends and the attraction and engagement of graduate talent. This person may be a recent graduate themselves with fresh perspectives to offer.

How will I help?

A day in the role may look a bit like this;

  • Working with the Communications, Content, Design, and Social Media teams, develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to attract top graduate talent and promote insurance as a career.
  • Recommending best practice in graduate talent attraction and marketing to continuously improve our graduate brand.
  • Creating internal and external promotional material on internship and graduate programs, drafting copy and working with the Content and Design team to finesse.
  • Creating digital video content using Vyond, working with internal stakeholders to plan, storyboard, and execute.
  • Liaising with and workshopping ideas with our current graduates and aim to feature existing graduates in marketing campaigns.
  • Utilizing data analytics tools to measure campaign performance, track key metrics, and derive insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Depending on interests, support the project management of university initiatives such as industry consulting projects and events.
  • Again, depending on interests, support the graduate volume recruitment, including assessment centre logistics.

About you

To be successful as a Marketing Consultant in our Talent team, you will value high performance and human connection, and will have:

  • A creative or psychology degree (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in digital media, including video content creation and video editing.
  • Current knowledge of and a passion for social media trends.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting documents and copy.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • A strong interest in what drives people, especially university students and graduates.
  • Results focused mindset with an interest in data to measure success.
