What you’ll do 

The Graduate Program is a chance for you to gain experience and build real connections, getting exposure to a range of different and dynamic teams and business areas. You’ll get to work with some senior business leaders and receive training that’s a mixture of structured and on-the-job aimed at helping you decide where you’d like to grow and develop. 

By the time the program is complete you’ll be equipped with a broad set of skills, in-depth knowledge of the Suncorp Group and the ways we make a difference for our customers, and a clearer idea of just how you’d like to chase your own ambitions.

Legal Graduate (Brisbane, Sydney locations)

Our Legal team
is responsible for overseeing Suncorp’s legal affairs and the mitigation of legal risks throughout Australia and New Zealand, along with Company Se
cretariat and governance services for Suncorp in both countries. The team is also responsible for preventing, detecting
and investigating fraudulent behaviour on behalf of Suncorp.

As part of the graduate program, you will have the opportunity to complete four six-month rotations through our different Legal teams such as Corporate Advisory, Litigation & Advice, Group Dispute Resolution & Investigations, & Insurance Advisory, gaining exposure to our wider business. We also support the completion of your Practical Legal Training (PLT) during the program!

To be eligible for the Suncorp 2024 Graduate Program you must have:

• Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand
• Partial or full completion of undergraduate level study with an Australian or New Zealand University (or equivalent Tertiary Institution) within the last 3 years (2021 - 2023), and have completed a minimum of undergraduate level study prior to the program commencing
• Minimum ‘pass’ grade
