• learn all about the business: markets (capital rising stage to disposal), debt capital markets (including corporate and emerging market bonds), structured products (and how to tailor them)

• be involved in providing merger and acquisition advice and execution, refinancings, spinoffs, exchange offers, and other advisory services

• analyze complex situations and develop the best strategy to maximize our clients’ diverse objectives 

Your team
You’ll be working in New Zealand in our Global Banking business (part of the Investment Bank) with our country and sector coverage teams. We provide coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing solutions for corporate and financial institutions.

Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:

- will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree by the end of 2024
- has values that align with ours: integrity, hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a fast-paced business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program
During your 10-week internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts. In your first week, you'll experience a thorough training course which focuses on professional development and the technical skills you'll need for the job. During the remaining 9 weeks of the summer, you’ll work with various teams across the firm learning about their day-to-day business. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
