Yancoal Graduates are the succession plan for our future leaders. We don’t expect you to have the knowledge yet – this is what the Yancoal Graduate Program is all about! It’s about building your capability on your career journey.

• Mining Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering   
• Electrical Engineering
• Surveyor
• Geology
• Process Engineering
• Environmental Science / Engineering

What does your life look like at Yancoal?

• A rotational two year program that provides you the opportunity to experience both open cut and underground sites
• Kick start your role with an in-depth induction program that will help you learn about life at Yancoal, meet your mentors and key contacts across Yancoal who will help you set your career and learning goals, and undertake some awesome team building activities.
• Throughout the program, we have built in various training checkpoints to help support you building your professional skill set   Create lasting relationships with our Graduate Alumni across our business

What do you need to be a part of Yancoal's graduate program?

• You will need to be in your final year of university study and available to start full time work in February 2025
• You will have the appetite to learn everything you can about mining
• previous work experience / vacation work in mining would be advantageous
